Same core features for all.
Scale for your needs.
No per-seat pricing. No complicated licenses. Paid tiers add hosted capacity, project scale, and commercial rights, not feature gates.
For individuals, students, and hobbyists. Step up to Pro once you're working commercially or running a small commercial operation.
From free Community accounts to Enterprise, the same core features.
You pay for scaling and team needs, never for the tools. Every plan gets the full editor, no feature gates, no surprises.
Generate LVGL C as many times as you like. Other tools meter or paywall this. We don't.
Add as many screens to a project as the interface needs.
Place unlimited widgets on every screen, on every plan.
Defense, medical and other critical fields should consider a custom plan.
We'll support auditing, your own LDAP or identity infrastructure, self-hosting and the controls your compliance and regulatory obligations require.
Educators, non-profits and open-source contributors.
Tell us about your work and we’ll arrange a large discount, or a free allocation for the right project.
Pricing FAQ
Questions about plans & pricing
Is PicoPixel free to use?
Yes. The Community tier is free and stays free for personal, educational, and other non-commercial use — indefinitely, whether PicoPixel is in beta or not. You only ever pay if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.
What counts as commercial use, and which plan do I need?
Commercial use means using PicoPixel and the code you export from it as part of a business or revenue-generating work. That requires a Pro plan (commercial use is allowed under $100k ARR), which is $20/mo or $204/yr. The free Community and Starter tiers are for non-commercial use only. Community templates are a separate matter — they stay free for everyone to use, including commercially.
How does PicoPixel’s commercial pricing compare to other LVGL editors?
It’s dramatically cheaper. PicoPixel unlocks commercial use on the Pro plan at $20/mo or $204/yr, while SquareLine Studio’s lowest commercial tier starts at roughly $790/year — about 3.8× more. That means you can build and ship commercially viable products at a fraction of the cost. See the full breakdown on our comparison page.
When do the paid plans launch?
The Starter and Pro plans are coming soon and aren’t billable yet — that’s why their buttons show “Coming Soon.” Existing accounts will be grandfathered in, and we’ll share more once pricing goes live. Until then, everything available runs on the free Community tier.
How does billing, cancellation, and refunds work?
Once paid plans go live, subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, with no further charge after that. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and canceling doesn’t entitle you to a refund or proration for the current period.
Do you store my credit card or payment details?
No. PicoPixel does not store your credit card or payment information, and we never have access to it. When paid plans launch, all payments are handled by a dedicated third-party payment processor — your card details go straight to the processor and are stored on their secure, PCI-compliant systems, not ours. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, never the card data itself.
What’s the difference between owner and team projects?
Owner projects are your own private work — they stay with your personal account, separate from any team. Team projects are shared inside a team, where anyone you invite can work in them at the team plan’s limits, even on a free account. The per-project limits (size, fonts, components) are the same for both and apply to every project you create.
