Overview

Template आपकी PicoPixel files में से एक है, जिसे share किया जाता है ताकि दूसरे लोग उसे starting point की तरह खोल सकें. Screen को scratch से बनाने के बजाय वे आपके layout, widgets और styling से शुरुआत करते हैं.

Templates GitHub से submit होते हैं. आप एक public repo बनाते हैं जिसमें आपकी .picopixel file, showcase करने वाली images, और template describe करने वाला README होता है. Accept होने के बाद आपका template community Templates gallery में दिखाई देता है, जहां कोई भी उसे browse और use कर सकता है, और आपका credit attached रहता है.

यह guide repo setup करने, submission form भरने, आपके दिए जाने वाले rights, और submission accept होने की chances बेहतर करने के तरीके समझाती है.

शुरू करने से पहले

Submit करने से पहले दो चीजें ready रखें.

GitHub account. आपका template repo GitHub पर hosted होना चाहिए. अगर account नहीं है, तो पहले एक बनाएं.
Finalized design. Submit करने से पहले सुनिश्चित करें कि आप अपनी .picopixel file से खुश हैं. उसे PicoPixel app से export करें और repo में add करने के लिए ready रखें.

NOTE

Submission form access करने के लिए PicoPixel app में signed in होना जरूरी है. PicoPixel app खोलें और अगर अभी तक नहीं किया है तो Google या GitHub से sign in करें.

अपना GitHub repo setup करना

अपने template submission के लिए नया public GitHub repository बनाएं. Repo में तीन चीजें होनी चाहिए:

1. आपकी .picopixel file

अपनी .picopixel design file को repo के root में रखें. लोग यही file download करके PicoPixel में खोलेंगे, इसलिए सुनिश्चित करें कि यह final version है.

2. Showcase images

ऐसी images जोड़ें जिन्हें आप gallery में template के साथ दिखाना चाहते हैं. ये लोगों को download से पहले design का look समझने में मदद करती हैं.

Images को repo के root में या images/ जैसे folder में रखें.
Common formats use करें: .png, .jpg, या .webp.
अपने design का कम से कम एक screenshot action में शामिल करें. Multiple angles या screens और बेहतर हैं.
Images का size reasonable रखें — detail दिखाने के लिए काफी बड़ा, लेकिन unnecessarily huge नहीं.

3. README

Repo के root में README.md लिखें. इसे gallery में template description के रूप में use किया जाता है, इसलिए इसे अपने template का public-facing page मानें.

Strong README में यह होना चाहिए:

Template क्या है — design का brief summary और यह किसके लिए है.
Target resolution और hardware — किस board या display के लिए बनाया गया है, ताकि लोग जानें कि यह उनके setup में fit होगा या नहीं.
क्या included है — screens, widgets और key features list करें. उदाहरण: "two screens: a home dashboard and a settings page, with sliders, toggles, and a clock widget."
Credits — अगर आपने share करने योग्य third-party assets use किए हैं, तो उनका नाम और source दें.

TIP

सोचें कि कोई व्यक्ति gallery में आपके template पर बिना किसी context के पहुंचता है. अगर README "यह क्या है और क्या यह मेरे लिए काम करेगा?" का जवाब देता है, तो वह अपना काम कर रहा है.

Form भरना

Repo ready होने के बाद submission form पर जाएं.

PicoPixel app खोलें और sign in करें.
Left sidebar के bottom में अपना account क्लिक करें, फिर Your account चुनें.
Your-account sidebar में Submit Template खोलें.

Form में तीन fields हैं:

GitHub Repo Link — आपके public GitHub repository का URL (जैसे https://github.com/yourname/my-template). Repo public होना चाहिए ताकि review team उसे access कर सके. Submit करने से पहले double-check करें कि repo में आपकी .picopixel file, images और README हैं.
Author / Credits — वह नाम जो template creator के रूप में दिखाना है. जिन लोगों को credit मिलना चाहिए, उन्हें साथ में जोड़ें.
Notes (optional) — review team को जानने लायक ऐसी कोई बात जो README में नहीं है. उदाहरण के लिए, अगर कुछ images gallery listing में use नहीं होनी चाहिए, या design का ऐसा context जो public description में नहीं आता.

सब ठीक लगे तो form submit करें.

Rights और permissions

Template submit करना real permissions grant करता है, इसलिए भेजने से पहले इसे ध्यान से पढ़ें.

WARNING

ऐसी कोई material submit न करें जिसमें copyrighted content हो या content आपका न हो. Repo में मौजूद हर चीज — .picopixel file, images, fonts, icons और दूसरे assets — पूरी तरह आपकी original work होनी चाहिए या ऐसा material होना चाहिए जिसे publicly share करने की explicit permission आपके पास हो.

Submit करके, आप PicoPixel को अपनी repository की contents access, download और community templates gallery में publicly publish करने की permission देते हैं. Published templates बिना किसी copyright restrictions या licensing requirements के उपलब्ध कराए जाते हैं, ताकि कोई भी उन्हें अपने projects में freely use कर सके, commercial use सहित. आपका credit दिखता है, लेकिन template खुद दूसरों के लिए जैसे चाहें use करने को free होता है.

इसका मतलब है कि सिर्फ वही work submit करें जिसे आप इन terms पर share करने में comfortable हैं. अगर design का कोई हिस्सा ऐसा asset use करता है जिसे आपने create नहीं किया — font, icon set, image या कुछ और — और आपको पूरा यकीन नहीं कि आप उसे freely और without restriction share कर सकते हैं, तो submit करने से पहले उसे remove करें. Doubt हो तो छोड़ दें: clean template दूसरों के लिए उस template से ज्यादा useful है जिसे बाद में pull करना पड़े.

PicoPixel third-party rights infringe करने वाली content remove कर सकता है. Terms देखें.

आगे क्या होता है

Submit करने के बाद PicoPixel team आपका repo clone करती है और template review करती है. Review check करता है कि .picopixel file सही से खुलती है, images और README appropriate हैं, और submission Terms को meet करता है.

अगर कुछ clarify या fix करना हो तो team follow up कर सकती है. Review pass होने पर template Templates gallery में publish होता है, आपके credit और README description के साथ. वहां से कोई भी उसे अपने design के starting point के रूप में खोल सकता है.

NOTE

Submit करने के बाद repo बनाए रखें. अगर बाद में template update करना हो — bug fix, image swap, या description improve करना — तो repo update करें और team को बताएं.
